Thanks. I’m not a mac user but a friend just had a similar problem and ask me to fix it. I’ll see if this help fix the time issue.

It isn’t somethng Apple did wrong, it’s what Windows does wrong. All UNIX-based systems, and in fact, almost every system of consequence uses UTC time. Windows got this wrong, and although it has been fixed for some time internally, to maintain backward compatilibity with all old hardware and software that went along with the wrong Windows way, it still defaults to that.

thank you man, this was real pain in neck, it also happened to me, every single time I booted ubuntu linux my clock on windows 7 was wrong and this registry key fixes it, thanks
