The long-time running Digital Photography Show on The Podcast Network is no more. The show’s hosts have been locked out of their website without a chance to post their final show or farewells.
After notifying TPN that they intended to leave the network, the show’s hosts Scott & Michael were locked out of the website and TPN refused to post their final show because it didn’t meet “quality standards”. I find it hard to believe that a show’s quality would suddenly tank on the very last episode.
It’s sad to see such behaviour from TPN’s CEO Cameron Reilly. Things like this don’t make other shows want to help promote TPN’s content, and certainly don’t win many friends in the podcasting community at large.
Scott tells us why you’ll never hear the farewell episode of the Digital Photography Show on his blog, and subscribe there to keep current on the next incarnation of the DPS.
Good luck guys!

Sad to hear that. I never listened to the show in question, but I hate shitty behaviour like that. It’s not the first time TPN acts odd. I understand that their behaviour/demands had something to do with the GGP becoming AGP, right?
It’s supposed to be a community driven enterprise as far as I read on their website, but that feels far from what you just wrote.
And I agree with you in: Best of luck guys!

The primary reason for the Aussie Geeks leaving TPN was general technical and creative control, coupled with the stability problems TPN was having earlier this year.
I really hope it’s just a case of hurt feelings, and that TPN will air the final episode at some time in the not-to-distant future.

Ouch. Considering all of the good I heard about the guy from when TheGlobalGeekPodcast was on TPN, this is a complete opposite of what I perceived of the guy. Like you, I find it hard to believe that a shows quality would tank on the last episode. Either Cameron himself made a bad call or one of his employees did.

@Jeff there is only one employee: Cam

What would TPN be without it’s podcasters? I think this community is too small to be pulling stunts like this, whatever the justification. The bottom line is, great shows like GGP and DPS have contributed to TPN’s success, not the other way around.
At the end of the day the producers of these shows, whatever they are called in the future will continue to succeed in their respective podcasts without TPN.
