Windows Media in Firefox on a Mac!

March 25th, 2007 · 1 Comment

I just found an application called Flip4Mac which allows you to listen to or watch Windows Media streaming feeds in Firefox on your Mac!

The plugin is small, and installed without a hitch.  Within 3 minutes of my Google Search I was listening to the Canucks’ game on the Team 1040 streaming feed!

If you love your Canucks as much as I do, get Flip4Mac for your Mac today!

Oh yeah…Flip4Mac is an essential on my Mac. In this world of PC tailored video, it works wonders. The Studio version is my choice for the import and export potential. If you’re really into making you own video content for the web, their Episode is a must have.
They also have a new DVD imaging app out now called Drive In: Check it out HERE
One other thing…Firefox has been useful for me when certain sites done’t respond correctly in Safari…or should I say, when Safari doesn’t respond the way it should. I have a feeling that this issue is, again, one of those PC web design things.
