Amazing Starfield

October 13th, 2006 · No Comments

SWEEPS project Starfield (Hubble)This image was up on the APOD site today and I found it amazing. Not only because of the densely packed region of stars shown (these are near the galactic core), but because the SWEEPS project is intended to search for stars with planetary systems outside our own solar system.
